          Loop on Don Daeng Island

          • Don Daeng Island, 13km, an enjoyable walk around the island. Not by bike as it's too bumpy and it will be complicated to assist you if the bike needs maintenance.
          • The Rice fields are now very bumpy and sandy but fine by walk, 13km loop from Souchitra. Nice view of the mountains.

We have a large map near the reception showing the different paths of Champasak.

          Mountain hikes

view of Champasak from the top of a mountain

A medium/hard hike, you need to be fit and experienced with steep forest paths.

The mountain is near Souchitra, departure at 7am in tuk-tuk to the bottom of the mountain and return around 3pm. A local will guide you up there for the cost of 40$ per group including transport.

We don't take any commission, this is to help that family down the mountain, but be aware of the difficulty of the hike.
